Should the implementation of waste water treatment equipment be required, we have what you need. Magnus can design, assemble and distribute integrated systems to suit your needs.
Integrated systems
Magnus custom designs and builds integrated systems for wastewater applications, allowing treatment by batch reactors or by continuous flow, combining reliable components such as:
-
Holding and equalizing tanks.
-
Neutralization / pH adjustment systems.
-
Treatment reactors with mixers.
-
Separator / clarifier / DAF.
-
Sludge handling tanks.
-
Dewatering systems.
-
Control panels integrating automated PLC type controllers, measuring levels, pH, turbidity and other parameters, and controlling treatment sequence.
-
Chemical feed systems.
-
Polymer make-down systems.
Membranes processes
A membrane is an interface that regulates the passage of water and/or chemicals that are in contact with it. Membranes used in wastewater treatment are of the organic type, synthetic or ceramic, used in applications such as:
-
Microfiltration (MF)
-
Ultrafiltration (UF)
-
Nanofiltration (NF)
-
Reverse osmosis (RO)
Ceramic membranes are particularly useful for the treatment of cutting oils and degreasing baths.
Magnus can test a given effluent on small scale membranes in order to design and build a membrane system.
Effluent polishing
Once the majority of contaminants are removed, some minor residuals can remain in the effluent, requiring further treatment to:
Comply with discharge limits
Allow water re-use.
That's when the water treatment methods we normally use in potable or industrial applications become a good fit and help in polishing wastewater effluents.
Examples of polishing treatments:
Filtration on activated carbon, multimedia or others, depending of the type and levels of contaminants remaining.
Absorption on specialized media, such as a solid polymer for hydrocarbons.
Ion exchange resins, to remove residual heavy metals.
